An anecdote for you:
I have a rather wealthy friend who does not travel often but decided to take his wife to Paris for a long weekend. He called his travel agent and told her to book four business class seats. He though he was being smart by booking two seats a piece, allowing him and his wife to really stretch out while sleeping in business class. The dumb travel agent wanted to make commission, so she never told him that you can't stretch out into a second seat in J class - there's a huge, immovable armrest between the seats. He got on the plane and was pissed. Two business class fares down the drain. Horrible way to start the weekend. .
And, of course, One F seat is better than two J seats!
I suppose unless you're their for the food, you could get double meals, one for each J fare!
