No really, that was the route that was going to make me elite before my trip to SYD where I really wanted the lounge access, which ended up being a nice perk.

lol. Ah, I see. I did 2 LAX-BOS RT to get AA challenge for the free ticket worldwide and access to Oneworld lounges before going out to OZ/NZ so know what you mean. I could have given you a MLL pass and by the time you flew to SYD, you should have get Elite for the return trip.
