Thanks for the review. I am considering visiting Maputo for leisure only with my wife. We usually do CapeTown or Mombasa but I am seriously looking for something different.

My main concern is safety (although this may sound strange since we live in the Sudan). My wife would like to do some shopping and I like coastal walks and beaches. Is this an okay place for this?

plus - I am assuming you are Aussie - what were the entry requirements for Visas?
