Mrs Efin and I orginally had seats 61J&K assigned on a recent return from JKF-LHR and we changed them to 63J&K (which you can access via MMB pre-flight and long before OLCI). I would recommend these as a fall-back for any other seats, as you're in the smaller "half" of the upper deck (there are 8 seats on one side of the emergency exit - 4/4 and there are 12 on the other side 6/6 of it). 63J has nobody climbing over them to get into the aisle as they face the bulkhead of the crew jumpseat (good for privacy) and we were fortunate that 64J was empty, so I didnt have to climb over anyone either to get in and out of the window seat.
I am seeing 63B & 63K unavailable in MMB, with much of the rest of the cabin open (this is a few months away). Is it likely that 63BJ are blocked as being "exit row", or is the general experience that these seats are available for selection via MMB. 62AK is also unavailable, but other seats such as 63AK, 64JK are free.
