While I may not fly through ORD as much as some of the others in this thread, of the 12 times I made a connection there last year, only once did my flight arrive late - and then only by about 25 minutes (I was easily able to make my connection).

I did not, however, make any connections via ORD during the winter months, so that could account for some of the difference.

At the same time, I only connected twice through IAD last year and both times I ended up with food vouchers and a hotel stay courtesy of United flight cancellations.- Believe me, I would take a two hour delay over an ariport hotel stay any time.

At least ORD has the Berghoff. I couldn't find anything at IAD worthy of the fistfull of coupons I was provided.
