I don't believe in this Friday the 13th stuff, but at work today, and within about 20 minutes of each other:

- Our main web server went down, taking the ecommerce site offline
- Our credit card processing system failed, for about 2 hours
- Our office network slowed to a trickle, making a 10 second query last about 5 mins!

Perhaps I am becoming a believer!


On the good luck note, I always lightly tap the aircraft's fuselage on my way into the plane. No idea why!
