Will the route be back for the summer (I would bet it would do a lot better in the summer than in the winter)?

I just made an award reservation for TPA-FAI for a friend (long travel distance for only 25,000 miles: TPA-ATL-SEA-ANC-FAI-ANC-SLC-ATL-TPA) and it was tought to get award seats. I'm guessing this is because of the TPA-SEA portion of the travel, rather than the SEA-ANC-FAI portion.
