Guys, how about enough with the overweight jokes, not only do you make out to everyone esle that your limited in the IQ department but you drag down the reputation of the QF board as a whole. Have we all had a few to many friday night HP's ?

That said I agree that the OP's request for compensation and subsequent post are unreasonable considering there has been no actual loss to him. It may be worthwhile pointing out to Qantas their failure to follow safety procedures and provide an extender belt when requested, however demanding compensation because of this is entirely unreasonable and as a shareholder I would have actually preferred to have heard that Qantas offered a letter of apology rather than monetry compensation (even if it be in the way of points) and as someone pointed out a few posts back, surely if the OP was that concerned about a seatbelt they could have made their concerns known prior to take-ff.
