Okay, so I did this last year but now can't find the link. It's not on the general "MVP and MVP Gold Benefits Page," and I can't see a link anywhere on the "My Account" page to request the NW certificates. I am MVPG, so if it's there, it should show up, right?
By the way, the current certificates are good until the end of February, 2006.
Since they're good thru Feb, perhaps the link appears after Feb 28?

As an MVP Gold Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member, you receive complimentary Northwest Airlines First Class Upgrade certificates as an annual benefit. Every year MVP Gold members receive 4 round trip Northwest Airlines First Class Upgrade certificates.
To receive your Northwest Airlines Upgrade certificates, enter your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan number and select the registration code below. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Terms and Conditions: Only current MVP and MVP Gold members are eligible to receive complimentary Northwest Airlines First Class Upgrade certificates. You will receive the number of certificates that correspond to your current elite membership status with Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air. MVP Gold members will receive 4 round trip upgrade certificates per year. Members may only register once to receive the Northwest Airlines Upgrade certificates. Upgrades only valid within the 48 contiguous United States/Alaska or between the 48 contiguous United States/Alaska/Canada/Caribbean and Mexico.
