I had some trouble getting receipts for a few of my flights prior to the end of 2005. (Someone else with more energy can look up the thread.... )

So recently, when I had some time to kill at one of the IAD RCCs, I went to the CSR and tried to get a receipt by ticket number. I had my home-printed BPs with me.

She found an itinerary - but it wasn't mine. And I saw the printout. The ticket number (016....) was identical to mine. This is only a couple of weeks after I took the flight I was trying to get the receipt for.

Just another mine in the minefield that is UA's IT.

Needless to say, I don't have a receipt.
