I am SM and my wife is PM. We are flying to Munich for a few days this week for a family event, but were only able to both get there by securing rewards tickets in BE for me and coach for her (we didn't have enough miles for two BE class tickets).

I see from the seat assignment page on the web site that there are a number of BE seats available, but coach is full.

Is there any chance of getting her upgraded? Who might have the authority to do this? If so, are we better off trying in the Crown Room or at the gate? The people at Special Member Services (on the phone) were less than helpful.
