Late last year I was trying to build up EQP to make it to EXP. I put a DFW-LGW trip on hold on line as an S fare, which only earned .5 EQP/mile. I called up an Aadvantage agent who changed the booking fare to L. I then completed the transaction on-line without having to pay any booking fees.
