In the old days i always moved mypoints to hhonors and also got certificates for marriott reward points. But transfer to hilton is quick and an easy way to top off that account.

The value is in how you can best use the reward. 1 airmile = 2 Hilton points in my mind. So both the Hilton Points and the Airmiles have the same value. It's how you enjoy the reward that counts.
Last month I flew First Class to the Big Island of Hawaii and stayed at the Hilton for 6 nights all free. Most of those points and miles came from charging everything on credit cards (Phone, Utilities, Groceries, gas, Prescriptions) and paying them off at the end of the month. Not one dime toward interest payments. A wonderful vacation for FREE
