Yes, it was 747-400 w/ 3+4+3. I had a window seat and the seat next to me was empty - a bloke from Alabama had the aisle, also going to LHR.
I would say the load-factor was around 80-85% in Y. This estimate is hardly of any value to you, I'm afraid. Do note that the seat-pitch is decent though.
