The Edgewater to Anacortes -- a bare MINIMUM of an hour and a half for travel time (85 miles per Streets and Trips). Then, allow for traffic...and allow for enough time to get in line for the ferry. What day are you going? The ferry's are quite often full - you should be there early (and MUCH earlier on a Friday or weekend day). So, I'd give yourself 3 hours (travel plus traffic plus ferry line) and you SHOULD be OK. (Remember that you will be leaving downtown SEA at near rush hour) Do you have your return planned out, or reservations to stay on the island? Remember to allow for the return wait time, too.

http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/ is the url, and they have a link to wait times. Anacortes wait time as of today advises:

>quote<
A 30-45 minute advance arrival is recommended for vehicle traffic. For the 2:30 p.m. sailing, a 60 minute advance arrival is advised.
Walk-on passengers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to sailing. >unquote<

How much time should I leave myself?

Thanks!
