I am baffled by this sudden decision not to honor one of the reservations -- ten days after I purchased the tickets. By cancelling my ticketed reservation, Air Canada seems to be inviting litigation.
If the airline refuses to honor my second reservation, I will have to choice but file a claim in Pennsylvania municipal court.
Talk about a lousy customer-relations strategy!
Wow, this is worse than SAS who cancelled 4 days later! Of course realizing that they were opening themselves up for litigation they reinstated the reservations. No e-mails from AUA, but like I said I have been in touch with them regarding a reservation.
What about those that never get a call/e-mail and have their reservations active? What happens when the people show up at the airport? Even if you weren't fully charged, that doesn't mean anything since I have known UA to charge you after you've taken the flight!
