I am not impressed with HIs and even CPs in continental US or UK (the worse ones are in UK imho), and I try to avoid them.
Actualy I would rather stay in a HI Express (newer, free beakfast and internet access).
From what I saw, HIs and definitely CPs appear to look nicer outside of these countries.
