Why is there no row 1 and 2 on MD-80s? What about the 738s, for that matter? And what of row 1 on the 767?

Also, why in the world do they not skip numbers on some of the MD80s, so that by the time you get to the back of the plane you have row 27 on the left and 32 on the right?
