Actually there's a Yard House in Costa Mesa near Nike Town. I'm not a huge fan of the food though. It's just "okay."
I've been to Javier's Cantina at the Irvine Spectrum and that place is FUN. I like it 100000 times more than the location in Laguna Beach, but it's not exactly inexpensive, even though it's Mexican food.
