AS will not rehire the union ramp workers, especially now. The local would bend them over the table because of the bad PR. Besides, it will fade out of the news soon enough.

The local news media smell blood in the water, and will post every single incident involving AS and the ramp. After a month or two, they're readers/viewers will get bored and it will fade away and while incidents will still happen, they won't be front page news (more like back-page in "Local").
