So from Manchester we will have:

BA Connect - single class and buy your food
BA mainline to LHR/LGW - single class - free food of Panini's and bags of crisps.
GB Airways flying as BA - 2 class and free food.

Good - that's cleared that up then, Joe Public passenger will not be confused - do they eat before the flight, buy on the flight or get something for free on the flight??

As for the £25 one way seat - how many will there be of these on an Embraer 145 do you think? As many as there are at £9 (or wahtever the lead in fare is) on a Jet2 737 for MAN -> AMS I would guess, if not less.

The last time I flew MAN to OSL in economy with BACX it was £300+ each way as the flight was full (and work was paying), so less 40% is still £180 each way, over £400 return after taxes and daft charges I am sure.

I still doubt the figures will add up, but don't kid yourself that £25 fares will be the norm.
