As for the HP hubs, I have only recently been flying HP metal and my opinion is that LAS is sort of a cattle call with very mediocre, outdated terminal and I can't remember what PHX was like since it was a bit ago, but I am glad for the additional routing options and the club option in LAS.
There is a lot of renovation/construction work happening at LAS terminal 1. Rumor has it plans might include a post security club. If only there were pictures of what the terminal will look like when it is done. I hope it is more than a new paint job on a really old shack.
