That's what I would have hoped, but unfortunately not. If you skip a schedule (especially when flying international) they reprice your fare and it often comes up to double what you originally paid.

Eg. Toronto - London - Paris - London - Toronto. If you skip London - Paris, they charge you YYZ-LHR OW and CDG-YYZ OW which turns out to be much more expensive
