Similar to a flight I had yesterday. Online said it was an A319. If I tried to purchase a new ticket it was an A319. Seatmap was of a A319. Timetable said A319. But my seat assignment in First Class was 3C. I phoned Reservations and they said A320. Back online and still A319. It did end up being an A320.

More wierdness...I got a page stating my first flight was delayed over an hour. This meant missing my connection. At check-in counter I was reaccomodated via another hub city. After walking out the door of the airport to head for a restaurant to kill some time, I got another page this time saying the same delayed flight I had been canceled off of, was now departing 1 hour early! What the???

I ran back to the check-in counter and asked "What's up with this?" and showed the guy my page. He checked his screen and scratched his head and just said the page was wrong...really wrong, and that it was still going to be late, not early.

And of course I still can't get on United's WAP site on my cell phone as that puppy's been down for months.

What can you say but...Easy Update and united.com.
