Definitely some, but you have to keep in mind how many corporate contracts AA has. I have worked for three very large companies, and AA was the preferred domestic airline for all three. I fly a lot of transcons, and except for LAX-JFK the service is already below a LCC. I asked my travel department about being able to jump ship to UA, but for now our company is sticking with AA (so I need to keep my personal travel there too... would still rather be second tier with one airline vs. first tier with two despite the decreased value/experience because of bonus miles - which at least can be used with OneWorld partners). So as long as AA holds on to its preferred spot with many corporations, it will be fine despite the cutbacks because demand is on an upswing again.
