KathyWdrf...you wanna talk "terrible"? How about when I called down to complain about someone smoking in the hallway at 3 am (smoke oozing into my room no less) and no one at the front desk picking up the phone (at least 15 rings)? How about when a party in a room on my floor spilled out into the hallway at 4 am...I call and once again no one picks up at the front desk.

That my friend is not such a great situation. Got more examples if you want 'em...
Okay, I tend to use the "diva" tag whenever anyone uses the term "VIP' in a sentence referring to themselves. That probably won't change...

How does smoke ooze into one's room? I could understand if you had pissed the guy off and he was blowing it under the door, but...

Was the party and the smoke the same night? Was it the HS or a full service Hilton? I worked front desk at a Courtyard for a couple of years. Only worked night audit a few times, but I was the only one there. If someone clogged up a toilet and I had to go plunge, that phone could ring off the hook and wouldn't be picked up. Happens...okay, I'm sticking with diva alert....
