I think YYZ-SYD is going for about $2k (haven't checked recently). You can probably get it cheaper from Tour East or another consolidator. Will net you just under 20k miles.

Friends came here for $1,285 all-in on United in November, but I'm not sure if Tour East still has that special fare.
