If you are a Delta Platinum member, you can use the business class lounge regardless of your class of service. In most cases, the business class lounge is nicer and more peaceful then the crc. I have only taken the flight to Seoul that leaves around 1:00pm, and the check-in counter has always been open when I have arrived. So i cannot tell you when it opens for the midnight flight.
