I tried to use an e-cert a couple of days ago, and the price it gave me truly reflected the discount, but when I tried to do the booking with a regional upgrade requested at the beginning, it kept giving me an error screen, something about having to check the terms of upgrades to see if they were compatible with the discount. I did, and found no problem. But the system won't let me do both at the same time. Has anyone had experience with this? I assume that what I will have to do is book the ticket with the discount, and then request the upgrade through My Itineraries. Advice?
