The HOT sticker is for connection time, but I ALWAYS get it on IAD-FRAJNB and connection in FRA is 15 hrs ... so who knows what the system sees.

THey have to attach it if one of the connection points on the baggage tag is inverted (the writing white and background printed black, this indicates short connection)...

But maybe a systems guy can tell us why 15 hrs are short ?
