I'm on a 737-200 tomorrow morning ATL-GSO (as of right now, it looks like the upgrade should clear...I'm doing a Same Day Confirmed, but plenty of seats open in Y if anything...coach is clear through a T9 bucket)...never flown F on a 737-200, but I haven't really minded noise, etc. from the front of the plane (behind the wing though, there is a good amount).
