Often when I check in at the W SF there is a drink (1/2 bottle of wine, small bottle of gin) left with the pre-printed Platinum welcome note from the GM in my room. Clearly marked 'with our compliments'

I've now been charged *twice* for sizable honor bar bills ($20+) at this hotel even though I didnt drink anything else, not even the uber-expensive Voss water. I suspect this has something to do with housekeeping seeing the gin/wine bottles, but I cannot be sure.

I've had to write the hotel about this -- I'd rather pass on the complimentary drinks if I have to follow up everytime to get the honor bar charges removed from my bill ex post facto.
