I did this transfer four times (twice each way) in mid/late 2005 and twice a bit earlier. Three of the six times it was smooth and easy - just as RTW4 has been fortunate enough to find every time. The other three it took ages, with two waits of nearly an hour to get through the "minor" security check. Those two times I had lots of time so I didn't care. The third slow one was a tight connection. I showed my departure boarding pass to an airport agent near the transfer security screening. She hustled me to the front of the line, got me through ASAP, phoned for a special transfer van and got me there on time.

So, I wouldn't plan on anything until I've done the transfer. Maybe you'll get lucky and have time for the RCC, but keep in the back of your mind that maybe you won't.
