Thanks for the support, Rssrsvp! In reading other threads, you may notice that 10kster occasionally gets Delta's rules wrong, even though he speaks in an authoritative manner. See, for example, his post regarding the use of 800-mile upgrades on flights to Hawaii. If he is going to be the local Delta spokeperson (and too bad Delta has no "official" spokesperson), then he better do his homework.

In this case, he berates me for asking Delta to do what Delta brags it WILL do! Obviously, 10kster does not work in a Shuttle city and just didn't know what he was talking about in this instance (and others).

In any case, none of this aggravation was necessary. The 3:30 Shuttle flight that I took to LGA had empty seats.
