Not only do they say on Delta's website that "Reservations are never required and a seat is always guaranteed," but they drone it in your ear over and over again while you're on hold to SMS, including the bit about ROLLING OUT A NEW PLANE FOR YOU!

Apparently NWNF only applies to how customers get treated, not how employees are supposed to follow Delta's own expressly stated committments.
