Yes 10K, Delta SHOULD have rolled out a new plane for him. He seems to have met all the qualifications for it.

And yes, I do think you should keep your opinions to yourself. I truly do not believe that your approach and tone here are what Delta would truly want as a spokesperson. There are times when silence is better.

I have watched this airline in a downward spiral for several years now and your attitude is a reflection on this spiral. I have to be honest and say that I have been treated very well by Delta and have not had the experiences described within this forum happen directly to me but I have watched it in person, I have many friends who have told me thier horror stories and I believe that unless something is done to correct it Delta will just become another EA.

The shuttle flights do nothing but fly between their respective cities. Yes, ATC and local weather can delay them and that can cause the guarantee to be void but Bruce said nothing about weather being the cause of his delay. He did say that weather in ATL caused a lot of OTHER flights to be delayed which caused large lines.

Hmmmm... former loyal Delta customers bring it all on themselves? Yeah... Right....

From Delta's web site

Getting Onboard The Delta Shuttle
Tickets may be purchased online by selecting Reservations. Or visit one of our airport kiosks: buy your ticket, credit your SkyMiles account and be on your way in about 60 seconds. Reservations are never required and a seat is always guaranteed. Just make sure you're ticketed and at the gate at least 3 minutes before scheduled departure.

Guaranteed Seating
Seating is guaranteed for all passengers arriving at the gate at least three minutes prior to departure. If the scheduled flight is full, we will roll out another aircraft within 15 minutes1 or book you on the next scheduled flight and award a free ticket.
The additional aircraft will be made available pending weather and air traffic control

Unless Bruce is a liar, the flights were oversold, not weather delayed. It seems he met the terms of the agreement and Delta tried its best not to.

With this kind of attitude its suprising to realize that you bought Pan Am's shuttle not Easterns. Maybe they just hired the old Eastern staff!

What a sham.. i mean shame.....
