try Gulliver's across from John Wayne on McCarthur has entertainment, but does not have great atmosphere, Scott's near SC Plaza on Bristol is wonderful place, but no entertainment that I know of . . . I would call the concierge at the Westin SC Plaza or the desk at the Hotel Laguna. The Beach House on Laguna Blvd is very nice and has private rooms upstairs. In Santa Ana near Main and Flower, there is an old garage (Michaels I think) that has entertainment, and some private space near the restored antique cars
