Another vote for Al Qasr and Mina A Salaam - however do pay the little extra for executive benifits. The luxurious airport pickup - and food items offered free throughout the day make this world class place.

The rooms are very similar, and I personally do not think that Al Qasr is worth the extra over the Mina a Salaam.

If you wish to spend time in downtown Dubai, my favourite would be the Shangri-la - once again the extra for the executive level is well worth it imo.
