Do you have the prospect of earning further miles? 320k will get you 4 J seats elsewhere in the Far East or South Asia on CX/JL or 300k is 3 J to Oz/NZ on CX/JL/QF.

As a starting point though, who actually flies to PVG? Doesn't look like CX do so for Asia you'd have to get to HKG to start with, or stick to JL routes (Christmas in Bali/Maldives with a New Year in Tokyo???). For Oz, QF direct, one-stop on JL or CX from HKG. NZ from HKG, or one-stop on JL/QF.

Not sure about Malaysian - wouldn't hang about waiting for it to happen.

Last thought: North America is also 100k in J. If you don't fancy the States, that would include Hawaii in theory (JL).
