The lineup at the UA transfer desk (which AC borrows/shares) was at least 300 people long. I was in the lineup for half an hour or so when an agent in AC livery walked down the line. She picked out 2 SEs (of which I was one - thankful for those SE tags on my backpack!) and directed us to the UA business transfer line (which was empty).
What were you doing standing in that line to begin with? You have STARGold benefits and just as you could use UA's Business Class check-in even when flying in the back, you can use their Business Class lines at the Transfer facility. Any of the AC Elites -- and other airline STARGolds -- could have done the same thing. In fact, does not UA permit its Premiers to use Business Class lines, and they're STARSilvers?
