Update

Took LH 454 yesterday.
When I checked in at the Transfer Center Terminal B, the agent told me that there was only one seat left in F, -6 in C, and -30 in Y.
It seemed that LH had op-up many pax to F, which was completely FULL. Unfortunately, this time the FAs were not the usual great LH FAs I have flown before, particularly there was one FA who did not know many things in F service. For example, I know where to find a blanket. One pax asked for a blanket, and she opened all the overhead bins. She cam to ask the other FA and was told it's in the drawer side of the seat. She opened it saw the plastic wrapped. She closed it and told the other FA that no blanket. Dooh..
Again, this particular FA could not measure size. My neighbor who was clearly has a wider chest than me, got the M top sweater. I, on the other hand, was given the XL.
Anyway, one pax was quite upset with the fact that there was no salad on the menu. It was soup after the appetiser. He was on and on talking about he wants kosher food, and nothing on the menu about the salad. Anyway he was an HON. He was told by the purser that he and his wife would be met by a ground concierge who would accompanied them through the immigration and customs. But of course, he was the only HON in F, and the other two HON was in C-class. So when he walked out the gate and greeted by the concierge, and was asked to wait for another two HONs, he was upset. So he and wife walked themselves to the immigration.

In this F flight, I noticed there were few Americans whose FFP are UA MP. (Saw the *G notation on the purser list) They were upset with the lunch service. Basic reason. I think LH meal service follows the European way of eating which is take time. I mean I am a slow eater, thus it was great enjoying the whole meals. But those pax were upset and told the FAs to speed up their meals. There you go, most of us were just finished with the starter second serving, the other FA had to run back and forth to serve the entre to the pax who requested. I would say a bit chaotic.

Another observation, new amenity kits.. pink for the ladies, purpleish for the gents.
