Well that would be what the cell providers want. But the same cell providers are providing other equipments which do have WiFi (especially GSM carriers)

Vzw is also releasing XV6700 tomorrow which does have WiFi and 320x240 resolution ( unlike the 240x240 resolution of Treo 700w).

So Palm would appear to have a legitimate beef.LOL

But this phone is very good and the lack of WiFi was not a detriment to my decision as i can pop in an SDIO WiFi if i want.
