Probably will requalify as GE around December 31. I always work better butted up against deadlines.

I really was hoping I wouldn't have to shop for a status match, but it could be a good thing for me. SkyTeam is nearly non-existent from my home airports (unless you count the NW hub at NRT, which is still pretty out of the way). Star Alliance (NH) is everywhere though.
