I am premier Executive with United, but their business class option to Guam (via Narita) is $10k. I think the only options I have are Continental and NWA, can anyone point me in one direction or another, looks like I would be flying via Narita with Continental (their business class looks much nicer) or Honolulu with NWA.
I guess if anyone can point me at a way to get some big bonuses, etc.. on COntinental or NWA that would be nice, I am new to FF programs for both airlines.
First,welcome to FT.
Second pick either CO OnePass or NW WorldPerks. You can earn points on either airline (plus Delta) for credit to the other's program.
Finally, contact the carrier you choose and ask for a status comp from UA.
You definitely want the elite bonus for going to GUM.
I've flown DL and NW to GUM via NRT and CO via HNL. My pick would be to fly CO as their BizFirst is,
IMHO, nicer than DL or NW.
However, be aware of CO's 50% elite credit if you're future lower-fare flights are booked through a travel agent (i.e. not through continental.com).
