While we're on the subject of things the rozzers obviously ignore... my pet peeve is illegal vanity numberplates, i.e. those that have script style writing or judicious use of black mounting screws to make them more 'readable'. How do they enforce speed camera photos?
Or am I just jealous that I can't concoct something approaching my name from 3 numbers and 5 letters...
