Don't take me wrong, most of them are ok but the UK based FAs have some of the rottenest apples in the system. I recall one FA who was so incredibly hungover and incomeptent that it was nearly funny. Her service was just a complete disaster.

Flight UA 922 (daylight from IAD) is nearly always UK based but the crews have been mixed lately. Not sure if any Americans can be based at LHR? The pursers have all been American recently but most of the FAs are English. My latest flight had a very good Dutch FA.

When I take the later flights back from LHR 919 or 925 then the crews are usually all American.

I recall that the Chilean FAs got the option to be stationed at LHR after they killed the Santiago flights and they were outstanding but haven't seen any of them since 2003. There was one woman that I became friendly met after having her on 3 flights and then bumping into her by chance when I was at LHR flying SK.
