Well, I booked 1 night at the Aladdin in LAS though I would be taking a red-eye home. It had completely skipped my mind to double check the rules about this, so it is my fault. However, when I checked-in I did make sure to mention it to the front desk that I would be checking out before midnight to catch a red-eye. They mentioned that it happens quite often and to just drop the key card in the express check-out. There was no mention of a fee for checking out early. So, I go to check-out at about 930pm and there were no forms or envelopes at the express check-out box to fill out and place my keycard in and the desk was not busy so I just went to the desk to return my card. Again, there was no mention that I was getting charged $50 for checking out early.
