^ Cool routing on CO ^

I need to go to jolly olde England and Ireland in 10 days. So I start looking at the possibilities, and got the following on CO.com:

EWR-LGW
LON (LHR)-SNN [via EWR what a hoot]
DUB-EWR

$651, 4.9 cents/EQM, 2.6 cents/spendable mile.

Since CO can’t sell an intra-europe ticket, I got routed 6537 miles via EWR to go a net 375 miles! Not the world’s best MR, but what a neat way to fluff up or “mileage enhance” a business trip!

Now the cool part. I'm going revenue (work + MR ), look what I found for GF :
Europe, open jaw, with stopover, reward for 50,000 miles. Same routing. CO partner KLM doesn't fly into SNN. I spent 90 minutes on the phone with CO, and made this reservation without reverting to sleazypass miles. Granted, January is not a prime time to go to Europe.
