Of course you an jazz up the EWR-LAX legs by stuffing in IAH or CLE, but that really doesn't add too many more miles for the trouble and delay in arrival.

DUB-KL-AMS-KL-HKG-CO-EWR-CO-LAX ? Do it backwards! And you zig-zag accross the US!
