I also had the same dilemma as you and decided to stick with AA basically due to their superb transcon service in business and first from LAX-JFK. I think that the UA PS service is a great idea but food has been REALLY going downhill the past six months. I also LOVE the FLAGSHIP lounge at LAX.....
